Privacy Policy
We built Social Scheduler with a narrow scope: publish and scheduling workflows for your connected social channels. We intentionally avoid collecting unrelated personal information, and we process only the minimum data needed to make publishing reliable.
1) Information we collect
We collect account and workspace details when you create or use an account, including your name and email when provided. For connected channels we store technical metadata needed to keep publishing and scheduling functioning: provider identifier, workspace relation, account status, and profile labels. For drafts and scheduled posts we store message text, scheduling state, retry attempts, publish logs, and channel selection.
We also store encrypted credentials required to call provider APIs so posts can be published on your behalf. We do not store provider passwords in plain text.
2) How we use your information
Your information is used to authenticate you, authorize workspace actions, schedule and publish posts, and provide operational diagnostics for failures. We may use your email address to send critical security or account notices that affect your ability to use the service.
We do not use your content to train machine learning systems. We do not run broad behavioral analytics or advertising profiles. We do not sell your data.
3) Logs and retention
Like most web applications, we keep technical logs for troubleshooting (such as request outcomes and publish status). Operational logs are kept to support debugging and reliability work in this pre-production phase.
You can request cleanup of workspace data linked to your account through the Contact page. We will remove and/or revoke relevant channel access as requested within the current controls available.
4) Third-party providers
Publishing depends on external APIs from providers like Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads. Those providers have their own privacy terms and data handling policies for the permissions you grant. We only request scopes needed for publishing and account management functions.
5) Security
We apply standard access-control and transport protections for the platform, and sensitive provider credentials are encrypted before storage. If you suspect unauthorized access to a connected channel, disconnect it in Social Scheduler and rotate credentials with the provider immediately.
6) Changes to this policy
This is a living document. As we move from foundation cleanup to beta and launch readiness, we may update this policy and reflect major changes on this page. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the current version.
